to change a young person’s expectations about themselves, by
providing experiences which pique their interest, or that let them
see themselves in a role or career that they never previously
imagined.
By broaden we mean –
to allow a young person to have experiences that broaden their
perspective of the world or cause them to view it and their role in
it differently.
By qualify we mean –
to help a young person gain the experiences and education that will
allow them to succeed in college and in life.
